What is Jank Yard?
Ch.01 — BuildA different vehicle for every challenge
This is the game: read the challenge, then build for it. A hill climb wants grip and torque. A long jump wants speed and wings. A joust wants something that hits like a truck. Snap-and-go building takes seconds to learn and a lifetime to abuse — blocks, wheels, boosters, wings, and a lot of questionable ideas.
Then send it and see what breaks
Race down enormous staircases, grind up steep hills, thread narrow balance beams, survive the derby and stick huge jumps. Real physics means every crash, bounce and pile-up plays out differently — and your ride carries its own damage, so a rough landing leaves a mark.
Build the courses too
Jank Yard comes with a challenge editor. Drop ramps, decks, pillars and platforms, paint surfaces slick or sticky, set the start and finish, and you have a brand-new challenge. That's why the course list never runs out.
Party chaos with friends
Jank Yard is best loud and crowded. Hop online, bump your friends off ledges, and settle grudges head-to-head in a joust where two rides launch straight at each other and only one drives away.

How much will Jank Yard cost?
Jank Yard is planned at $4.99 USD, with Steam's regional pricing setting the equivalent elsewhere. Wishlisting also gets you told about any launch discount.
Is there a Jank Yard demo?
Yes — a playable demo goes up for Steam Next Fest, running October 19–26, 2026. It appears on the same Steam page as the full game, so wishlisting is the easiest way to catch it the moment it opens.
Is Jank Yard multiplayer?
Yes. Jank Yard is an online multiplayer party game: you and your friends build vehicles, line up at the same challenge, and race, joust or jump against each other. There's also a sandbox yard to mess about in while a lobby fills.
Is it “Jank Yard” or “Junkyard”?
It's Jank Yard — two words, spelled J-A-N-K. “Jank” is slang for something badly held together that somehow still works, which is the whole game. If a search bounces you to scrapyards, try “Jank Yard game” or “Jank Yard Steam”.
What platforms is Jank Yard on?
Jank Yard is coming to PC via Steam. No other platforms are announced yet — the Discord is the best place to ask for one.
Can I build my own courses in Jank Yard?
Yes. Jank Yard includes a challenge editor: place ramps, decks, pillars and platforms, paint surfaces slick or sticky, set a start and a finish, and you have a new challenge to throw at your friends.
Do I need to be good at building to play?
No. Building is snap-and-go and takes seconds to learn, and a bad vehicle coming apart spectacularly is usually funnier than a good one working. There are no wrong answers here, only jank.
